Now hear me out now! There is a case for why Imperial Assault uses dice in a unique way. I’m telling you, trust me. So check out this fun dungeon crawler/skirmish game with me that happens to be in the world of Star Wars.
Trying to even things out when playing a Skirmish match, I know I needed to paint more Mercenaries. It just isn’t fair that one side has fully painted miniatures and the other side doesn’t, right? Time for a favorite from Episode IV…
Hands up, Greedo!
Time for a hero for the Rebel side, I really like the look of this guy. Heavy and a gun but a hint of stormtrooper. He has a big, cool gun too that I did give a little extra loving to with a touch of detail.
Arm yourself, Biv!
After painting a bunch of Stormtroopers, Imperial Officers, and Rebel Troopers, I was looking for something a little more laid back. Enter this bounty hunter who is mechanical. Easy paint, but fun and rewarding to add detail!
Run from IG-88!
Time for more Star Wars! This is another figure I painted. This guy is right after the Stormtrooper bunch and seemed like a quick thing that could be painted. It turn out too bad if I say so myself.

Next 360 view of a painted miniature of mine is another Star Wars character. Again from the Imperial side we have a powerful grunt to charge ahead. Another of one of my first miniatures painted.
Gear up, Heavy Stormtrooper!
I’ve recently started to paint some of my miniatures. Half the fun is painting them and the other half is seeing them on the table. You might get to play the games with me but I can make sure you can see them!
The Stormtroopers for Imperial Assault were among the first minis I painted. This expansion pack leader is probably among my favorites and he came out really well. So hit the jump and check him out in 360 degrees and his description.
Behold, Kayn Somos! Continue reading Painted Mini’s: Kayn Somos, Trooper Commander
I play more games than just Star Wars games, honest! Just so happens that I got to play almost two of these themed games in a row. This wasn’t planned but who doesn’t like Star Wars, am I right?
Hit the jump to find out about Star Wars: Rebellion.
I think it is safe to say that I play a lot of board games. Heck, if you are reading this, you probably do as well. To see how much/many I do play, I am logging my plays. While that might not be too exciting for you, I’m going to provide some insight on how they went, why I played it, the good/bad, and more in this new feature called NOW ROLLING (colon edition). It won’t be every game I played but the most recent ones.
First up, Star Wars: Imperial Assault
