Welcome back to Board Game Club! In this episode of BGC, we talked about Blood Rage. Just like a book club, we pick a game and then talk about how it made us feel, what we liked & didn’t like, etc.

Starting the year off right with a bearded mini. This miniature was painted by a friend. He graciously let me show off his fine paintmanship (it is totally a word) in this week’s edition of Painted Mini’s. So let’s check it out already!
Glory to odin!
While I have played this game many times before, this is the first time I have played it since starting Now Rolling. Don’t worry about duplicates unless it is different gameplay (Imperial Assault Campaign mode).

At first glance, Blood Rage– a game that consists of highly detailed viking and monster miniatures– might be assumed to be a highly aggressive meat grinder of a war game, where you battle against your opponents in bloody duels for the glory of your clan. It’s practically right there in the name! Plus vikings! I mean, come on! But if that’s the impression you walked away with after taking a look at the game box, you’d be wrong. Well, mostly wrong.
